The beer culture does not stand still because we're developing it.
Labietis isn't brewed according to the recipes of German barons or the traditions of our ancestors. We brew beer here and now, inspired by the diversity of world styles. Labietis began as a countercurrent to boring beer that has sunk into the shallows of industrial brewing tastes.
We're supporting local culture without falling behind global craft beer trends. Modern beer brewing is without borders.
PAGAN BREWS
The oldest archaeologically recorded beer sediments are 5000 years old. The oldest references - 13,000 years old.
Our inspiration comes from a time before beer had classification of styles and rules - when herbs and juicy fruits were used in brewing. History is enigmatic and we interpret it in flavors.
HONESTLY BREWED
Labietis started in an open space instead of a closed factory with the idea that everyone can watch the brewing process while sitting in a pub.
We stand for honest brewing and we're vouching for the quality of every ingredient, from hand-harvested heather to overseas hops or exotic fruit purees.

€2.87A style popular in late medieval Goslar. The aroma of lightly soured mash and Goldings hops introduces a refreshing tastescape, where it is enriched by the spiciness of coriander. Followed by the bready sweetness of wheat malt, which is faded by a slight bitterness and finished by a pinch of salt.

MAGIC FOREST 11,4%
€3.47An intense brew first enjoyed by the British aristocracy during the Industrial Revolution. Already on the nose, you can feel the drink's thick core of lightly caramelized malts, which is refreshed by the resinous pine buds and the spooky wild rosemary. The tongue literally gets stuck in the maltiness, only to be rescued by the bitterness of the hops, all of which lingers into sticky warmth.

WHITE ABORIGINE 5%
€3.00Modernly hopped wheat beer. The pleasantly refreshing aroma of New World hops interacts with the spicy esters of weissbier yeast. The rhythm of taste is dominated by the multifaceted fruity bitterness of Citra and Galaxy hops with the soft sweetness of wheat malts saving them from being too explicit.

Cherry Witch 5.5%
€3.03A modern cherry ale with a naturally charming tastescape. The confident density of the cherries, whose juice is fermented here at a ratio of 1/7, is embraced in the sweetness of lightly caramelised malts, which allow the drink to be sweetly juicy while keeping all the typical cherry traits - a brightly red density of fruitiness with a light touch of stone.

GRAPE ELDER 8,4% (750ml)
€9.00This grape ale is brewed by aging some 2 year old barrel fermented beers from our coolship programme on freshly picked grapes at ratio 1/3. Mostly white Vandal Cliche, with a touch of red Jodkrante and Golubok for colour from Gatis Kužums vineyards near Bauska. The aroma is dominated by a moderate horseblanket with hints of ripe berries, which initially dances on the tongue with typical fruity flavors of older wildales, but then loosens up all the seriousness and turns into a playfully light and whitewiny aftertaste with a juicy apple finish.

€3.04A typical dark beer, whatever that means. In our case, we have added chamomile to this mildly roasted tastescape. On the nose, it gives a bittersweet note to the earthy fruitiness of Goldings hops, while on the tongue it fits perfectly with the multi-layered bouquet of caramelized malts. A Nordic adventure with a high final gravity and a lasting bittersweet finish.
