On the nose the aroma of four types of caramelized and lightly roasted malts dominate. On the tongue, they are joined by the stickiness of oats along with bittersweet threads of chamomile, followed by the crisp coffee bitterness of roasted chicory root. The high final density allows the beer to maintain a chewy sweet structure, in which alcohol remains completely unnoticed, leaving the aftertaste lingering in the realm of chocolate fondant.
