VĪNOGU VECIS

This grape ale is brewed by aging some 2 year old barrel fermented beers from our coolship programme on freshly picked grapes at ratio 1/3. Mostly white Vandal Cliche, with a touch of red Jodkrante and Golubok for colour from Gatis Kužums vineyards near Bauska. The aroma is dominated by a moderate horseblanket with hints of ripe berries, which initially dances on the tongue with typical fruity flavors of older wildales, but then loosens up all the seriousness and turns into a playfully light and whitewiny aftertaste with a juicy apple finish.
