BREWING
The beer culture does not stand still because we're developing it.
Labietis isn't brewed according to the recipes of German barons or the traditions of our ancestors. We brew beer here and now, inspired by the diversity of world styles. Labietis began as a countercurrent to boring beer that has sunk into the shallows of industrial brewing tastes.
We're supporting local culture without falling behind global craft beer trends. Modern beer brewing is without borders.
PAGAN BREWS
The oldest archaeologically recorded beer sediments are 5000 years old. The oldest references - 13,000 years old.
Our inspiration comes from a time before beer had classification of styles and rules - when herbs and juicy fruits were used in brewing. History is enigmatic and we interpret it in flavors.
HONESTLY BREWED
Labietis started in an open space instead of a closed factory with the idea that everyone can watch the brewing process while sitting in a pub.
We stand for honest brewing and we're vouching for the quality of every ingredient, from hand-harvested heather to overseas hops or exotic fruit purees.

Dawn 5,8%
An eye-opening amber ale with mint and ginger. It starts with mint, which is complemented by the oriental freshness of ginger and the soft bitterness of Goldings hops. On the tongue lightly caramelized malts join in with juicy notes of sugarcane that help to smooth out the spiciness of ginger. In the end ginger is not the only one that warms.

SHEPHERD`S BOY 4,5%
A light and effervescent beer brewed in the belgian tradition for the seasonal harvest. The gently spicy esters of Walloon yeast are complimented by the tropical juiciness of Citra hops, that allows to enjoy the crisp tastescape despite a low final gravity. The citrus bitterness and slight maltiness balances on the tongue until a refreshing ending.

A contemporary mango beer with all the flavor characteristics of this tropical fruit. The aroma is dominated by the thick fruitiness of mango, including the typical resinous notes, that connect on the tongue with the subtle bitterness of Mosaic hops. All this accompanied by an exotic sweetness with an aftertaste of a dense and sticky jungle.

Lilac elder 6.6% (375ml)
A seasonal blend of spontaneous fermentation beers from 2020 and 2022. Shortly before bottling this beer has been lusciously dryherbed with freshly picked lilacs at 50g per liter. The result hits the nose with the bittersweet aroma of lilac, which transforms the typical horseblanket of the style into a almost melon. However, in the taste, this apparent softness is replaced by the funky and spicy bouquet of wild yeasts, while notes of synthetically bittersweet lilac remain in the background. Finishes with a lingering aftertaste of ripe summer and good mood.

LITTLE LINGONBERRY 3% (375ml)
A contemporary take on a Belgian style berry lambic. Here we have fermented an extremely light wort with Brettanomyces genus yeasts and matured on fresh lingonberries for 3 months at a ratio of 1/8. On the nose, the bitter aroma of lingonberries is fresh and mossy, allowing you to slip into an autumnal seaside forest landscape. On the tongue, the tart nature of the lingonberries comes to life, complemented by sweet and spicy yeast esters, creating a delicate bouquet of a variety of forest berries, that fades into a refreshing aftertaste.

An interdisciplinary berry beer with a multifaceted tastescape. The dry floral aroma of elderflower pleasantly compliments the fruitiness of Mosaic un Galaxy hops. On the tongue the explicit acidity of red currant liquifies the tropical bitterness, leaving a sour berry and dry aftertaste that lingers until you move your toes.

BLACK CURRANT WILDLING 7,1% (375ml)
Fermented with Brettanomyces yeasts typical to the Senna river valley and maturated for a couple of months on fresh Latvian blackcurrant berries and leaves of the 2023 season. In the aroma the dry and spicy notes of the blackcurrant leaves outplay the yeast esters, whose soft mossiness slightly slows the screamingly thick and brutally tart juiciness of the berries on the tongue. Pleasantly spicy horse blanket reveals istelf in the aftertaste once the juiciness recedes.

Ingredients: water, blackcurrant, barley malt, wheat, hops, yeast.

Historical pictish wholehive heather mead, mentioned in both Ancient Roman chronicles and Scandinavian legends. The dry sparkling drink invites to the tastescape of a bee hive. The sweet aroma of propolis is followed by the flowery bee pollen and dryly mossy heather blossoms. All of which fades into a humming apiary.
