The beer culture does not stand still because we're developing it.
Labietis isn't brewed according to the recipes of German barons or the traditions of our ancestors. We brew beer here and now, inspired by the diversity of world styles. Labietis began as a countercurrent to boring beer that has sunk into the shallows of industrial brewing tastes.
We're supporting local culture without falling behind global craft beer trends. Modern beer brewing is without borders.
PAGAN BREWS
The oldest archaeologically recorded beer sediments are 5000 years old. The oldest references - 13,000 years old.
Our inspiration comes from a time before beer had classification of styles and rules - when herbs and juicy fruits were used in brewing. History is enigmatic and we interpret it in flavors.
HONESTLY BREWED
Labietis started in an open space instead of a closed factory with the idea that everyone can watch the brewing process while sitting in a pub.
We stand for honest brewing and we're vouching for the quality of every ingredient, from hand-harvested heather to overseas hops or exotic fruit purees.

Bog honey 6,5% (without malt)
€3.12Dry mead brewed with bog myrtle and 5% lingonberry juice. The northerly meager tastescape of a bog is introduced by the refreshing sour and bitter aromas of lingonberry and myrtle. On tongue they pick up some residual sweetness from honey that enriches the bittersweet bog myrtle experience, with a sparky dry lingonberry finish.

LITTLE LINGONBERRY 3% (375ml)
€4.60A contemporary take on a Belgian style berry lambic. Here we have fermented an extremely light wort with Brettanomyces genus yeasts and matured on fresh lingonberries for 3 months at a ratio of 1/8. On the nose, the bitter aroma of lingonberries is fresh and mossy, allowing you to slip into an autumnal seaside forest landscape. On the tongue, the tart nature of the lingonberries comes to life, complemented by sweet and spicy yeast esters, creating a delicate bouquet of a variety of forest berries, that fades into a refreshing aftertaste.

€3.16A seriously dark smoked beer with multifaceted bitterness. The apocalyptic aroma of deep char, smoke and tar coquettishly cover the alcohol content. The seriousness continues on the palate, permeated by the peat smoked and roasted malts, resinous fruity bitterness of Columbus hops, as well as notes of caramel and candy, which luckily keep it all in a state of tentative balance. Dried fruits and warmth in the finish.

€3.51An interdisciplinary berry beer with a multifaceted tastescape. The dry floral aroma of elderflower pleasantly compliments the fruitiness of Mosaic un Galaxy hops. On the tongue the explicit acidity of red currant liquifies the tropical bitterness, leaving a sour berry and dry aftertaste that lingers until you move your toes.

BLACK CURRANT WILDLING 7,1% (375ml)
€5.09Fermented with Brettanomyces yeasts typical to the Senna river valley and maturated for a couple of months on fresh Latvian blackcurrant berries and leaves of the 2023 season. In the aroma the dry and spicy notes of the blackcurrant leaves outplay the yeast esters, whose soft mossiness slightly slows the screamingly thick and brutally tart juiciness of the berries on the tongue. Pleasantly spicy horse blanket reveals istelf in the aftertaste once the juiciness recedes.

LEGENDARY LATGALIAN WARRIOR 7.9%
€3.06Inspired by traditional Latvian rye bread. The nordicly spicy caraway enriches the scentwise related Belgian style yeast esters. On the tongue, this harmonious couple is joined by the harsh and full-bodied sweetness of rye, which completely embraces the high alcohol content. A dangerously slippery drink with the tastescape of the only real bread.

€2.90An eye-opening amber ale with mint and ginger. It starts with mint, which is complemented by the oriental freshness of ginger and the soft bitterness of Goldings hops. On the tongue lightly caramelized malts join in with juicy notes of sugarcane that help to smooth out the spiciness of ginger. In the end ginger is not the only one that warms.

The rich sweetness of the lightly caramelized barley malt shines bright, balanced by the nuances of the earthy bitterness of Sladek hops and hints of booziness. The smoky nuttiness of the toasted chestnut wood chips brings this bock as close as possible to what has been brewed in wooden barrels in Einbek since the 14th century.
