BREWING
The beer culture does not stand still because we're developing it.
Labietis isn't brewed according to the recipes of German barons or the traditions of our ancestors. We brew beer here and now, inspired by the diversity of world styles. Labietis began as a countercurrent to boring beer that has sunk into the shallows of industrial brewing tastes.
We're supporting local culture without falling behind global craft beer trends. Modern beer brewing is without borders.
PAGAN BREWS
The oldest archaeologically recorded beer sediments are 5000 years old. The oldest references - 13,000 years old.
Our inspiration comes from a time before beer had classification of styles and rules - when herbs and juicy fruits were used in brewing. History is enigmatic and we interpret it in flavors.
HONESTLY BREWED
Labietis started in an open space instead of a closed factory with the idea that everyone can watch the brewing process while sitting in a pub.
We stand for honest brewing and we're vouching for the quality of every ingredient, from hand-harvested heather to overseas hops or exotic fruit purees.

BLACK CURRANT WILDLING 7,1% (375ml)
€5.09Fermented with Brettanomyces yeasts typical to the Senna river valley and maturated for a couple of months on fresh Latvian blackcurrant berries and leaves of the 2023 season. In the aroma the dry and spicy notes of the blackcurrant leaves outplay the yeast esters, whose soft mossiness slightly slows the screamingly thick and brutally tart juiciness of the berries on the tongue. Pleasantly spicy horse blanket reveals istelf in the aftertaste once the juiciness recedes.

€3.41Dark and blasphemous beer that invigorates the soul. The witchy bitterness of yarrow combined with fruitness of Citra hops and the roasted caramel flavour of five different dark malts invite to an intense tastescape a pious tongue would choose avoid. Alas, the devil has it`s ways.

€2.89Hearty and full-bodied light beer for winning. The lime bitterness of Wakatu hops is embraced by the silky tenderness of the high final density of oat and barley malts, which lingers as the unique biscuity sweetness of the floor kilned malts in the aftertaste.

Cherry Witch 5.5%
€3.03A modern cherry ale with a naturally charming tastescape. The confident density of the cherries, whose juice is fermented here at a ratio of 1/7, is embraced in the sweetness of lightly caramelised malts, which allow the drink to be sweetly juicy while keeping all the typical cherry traits - a brightly red density of fruitiness with a light touch of stone.

PETER THE HOP 8,2%
€3.40All the rage of the 90s California captured in an imperial IPA. Brewed with the pillars of the new world of hops at that time - Columbus, Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo, and Citra. Each hop adds to the thickness of the wave of bitterness, that crashes upon a mountain of lightly caramelised malts. The epic landscape fades slowly into warmth.

LITTLE LINGONBERRY 3% (375ml)
€4.60A contemporary take on a Belgian style berry lambic. Here we have fermented an extremely light wort with Brettanomyces genus yeasts and matured on fresh lingonberries for 3 months at a ratio of 1/8. On the nose, the bitter aroma of lingonberries is fresh and mossy, allowing you to slip into an autumnal seaside forest landscape. On the tongue, the tart nature of the lingonberries comes to life, complemented by sweet and spicy yeast esters, creating a delicate bouquet of a variety of forest berries, that fades into a refreshing aftertaste.

Bog honey 6,5% (without malt)
€3.12Dry mead brewed with bog myrtle and 5% lingonberry juice. The northerly meager tastescape of a bog is introduced by the refreshing sour and bitter aromas of lingonberry and myrtle. On tongue they pick up some residual sweetness from honey that enriches the bittersweet bog myrtle experience, with a sparky dry lingonberry finish.
