BREWING
The beer culture does not stand still because we're developing it.
Labietis isn't brewed according to the recipes of German barons or the traditions of our ancestors. We brew beer here and now, inspired by the diversity of world styles. Labietis began as a countercurrent to boring beer that has sunk into the shallows of industrial brewing tastes.
We're supporting local culture without falling behind global craft beer trends. Modern beer brewing is without borders.
PAGAN BREWS
The oldest archaeologically recorded beer sediments are 5000 years old. The oldest references - 13,000 years old.
Our inspiration comes from a time before beer had classification of styles and rules - when herbs and juicy fruits were used in brewing. History is enigmatic and we interpret it in flavors.
HONESTLY BREWED
Labietis started in an open space instead of a closed factory with the idea that everyone can watch the brewing process while sitting in a pub.
We stand for honest brewing and we're vouching for the quality of every ingredient, from hand-harvested heather to overseas hops or exotic fruit purees.

€2.89Inspired by Latvian folk songs on juniper beer, this one will resemble a refreshing walk in our corniferous seaside forests. Brewed with juniper berries and a variety of hops derived from regional wild hops - Kazbek. Fruity and resinous, with a lightly kilned malt backbone and a blasphemously inviting finish.

€2.90A strong lager matured on chestnut chips. The rich sweetness of the lightly caramelized barley malt shines bright, balanced by the nuances of the earthy bitterness of Sladek hops and hints of booziness. The smoky nuttiness of the toasted chestnut wood chips brings this bock as close as possible to what has been brewed in wooden barrels in Einbek since the 14th century.

SHEPHERD`S BOY 4,5%
€2.86A light and effervescent beer brewed in the belgian tradition for the seasonal harvest. The gently spicy esters of Walloon yeast are complimented by the tropical juiciness of Citra hops, that allows to enjoy the crisp tastescape despite a low final gravity. The citrus bitterness and slight maltiness balances on the tongue until a refreshing ending.

€3.07West coast IPA with a typical bitterness forward character. Mosaic hops dominate the tastescape with hints of lychees, mango and pomelo, complimented by the clean bitterness of Magnum, while amber malts keep the fruity bitter balance throughout the aftertaste.

Dawn 5,8%
€2.90An eye-opening amber ale with mint and ginger. It starts with mint, which is complemented by the oriental freshness of ginger and the soft bitterness of Goldings hops. On the tongue lightly caramelized malts join in with juicy notes of sugarcane that help to smooth out the spiciness of ginger. In the end ginger is not the only one that warms.

VIBURNUM WILDLING 7.2% (375ml)
€4.54Berry ale brewed according to the traditional Belgian method. Fermented with yeasts of the genus Brettanomyces, after which matured for 3 months on viburnum berries picked after the first frosts, at a ratio of 1/8. The nose is immediately occupied by the haunting timber like aroma of viburnum berries. On the tongue the viburnum berries open up and the bitter aroma is complemented by a haunted sweetness with a slight acidity. Just moving into the aftertaste, wild yeast esters also appear on the scene, which allows this show to move into the tracks of conventionally recognizable flavors that draw in the bare aesthetics of a late autumn forest.
