The contemporary NEIPA flavourscape is infused with 16th century techniques and raw materials. We blended barley, oats, wheat and rye in a decoction of juniper and lime flowers, drained the wort without boiling and spiked it with rowanberries. This cloudy, juicy lambic is then thoroughly hopped with Azacca hops, which add contemporary tropical fruity notes to the beer. Juicy and bitterly funny, like the life story of Tis the Riveter, which is the basis of the film ‘God’s Dog’.
