A Latvian take on a classic Italian-style vintage beer. We prepared a vatting from our 13th wood vat and a year of pure Brettonomyces-fermented beer, in which we racked fresh 2024 vintage Zilga grapes from Kandava for several months. The aroma of the beer combines a winey freshness with the mossy pungency of the wild grapes. The lilly lingers on the tongue with a red-fruity acidity, in which the first threads of the grape’s characteristic zesty and tannic flavours emerge. With a pleasantly drying aftertaste of the northern woods.
