Shop / The Dark Witch
This is a contemporary recreation of a prehistoric stall served at a funeral in Egtved ~3390 years ago, using the same ingredients – smoked and roasted wheat, honey, wild berries and wild herbs. The nose has lime blossom, evening primrose and roasted wheat with smoky threads. On the tongue, there is a slight tartness of cranberry and lingonberry with a myrtle bitterness which, together with a honeyed warmth, dominates the aftertaste of this archaeological drink.
