WHY IS GOOD BEER IMPORTANT?

Although beer has long been the second most consumed drink in the world after tea, in recent decades its flavour diversity and overall quality have grown, allowing it to return to the menus of the finest restaurants.

Beer is simply a more accessible answer to almost any question – whether it’s a casual get-together with friends, a refined multi-course dinner with carefully paired drinks, or a simple moment of decompression after a day at work. A strong beer selection is the attendance cornerstone of any modern socialising venue.

A few good reasons

What makes a restaurant or café good? You’ll say it’s reputation. That is built on experience. Drinks with a meal are no longer just a way to wash down food. And beer adds yet another dimension to that experience.

When we create our beers, we consider a whole lot of aspects – how it will look in the glass, what its aroma profile will be, what kind of meal it will go with. A lager is certainly a safe companion – but have you tried cheeses with spontaneous fermentation beers, seafood with a gose, or indulged in a rich, luscious slice of cake alongside a strong braggot?
